How easy it is to sanitise depends primarily on the compact, non-porous surface of polypropylene. Dirt tends to remain on the surface of the furniture and can therefore be removed more easily, especially with regular cleaning.

How to sanitise resin garden chairs and tables
For routine cleaning of resin furniture, mild soap and water are all you need. You can apply the solution to the surface with a soft cloth, working gently on areas where dirt tends to accumulate. Once finished, rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue.
We recommend cleaning regularly, without waiting for dust or stains to dry. This way, you can clean all your furniture—whether it is a resin garden chair or an outdoor table—without using harsh products.
For more stubborn dirt, you can use a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive tools at all costs, as they could scratch the finish. Before applying a specific sanitising product, always check the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure it is suitable for polypropylene.
A material designed for outdoor living
High-quality polypropylene—the primary raw material in the production of Nardi outdoor furniture—is non-toxic, anti-static, and highly resistant to standard weather conditions, cracking, and scratching. Last but by no means least, polypropylene is fully recyclable—a property Nardi has always taken advantage of by reintroducing production waste into the manufacturing cycle to prevent waste. Following this ethos, in 2019 the company launched the Regeneration Products line in fiberglass polypropylene, which also contains a percentage of post-consumer recycled resin.
