The Green Good Design Award rewards Nardi's commitment to sustainability this year too

In 2021, the coveted international Green Good Design Award acknowledges Sipario, our new modular partition made of recycled plastic, designed by Raffaello Galiotto.

Bestowed by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum, this award selects projects from around the world that stand out for their innovation and environmental sustainability.

Sipario is the outcome of our Regeneration industrial programme based on the principles of recycling and the circular economy. With the recovery of polypropylene outdoor furniture that has reached the end of its life cycle, regenerated plastic can be obtained and used for moulding new products.

In addition to the green aspect of the recycled material of which it is made, the special features of Sipario are the self-watering planter, the elegant asymmetrical wide mesh design and the opportunity to combine individual modules in countless furnishing configurations (linear, split, curved and closed). Designed to recreate sustainable outdoor contexts in an urban environment, Sipario is ideal for partitioning open spaces in bars and restaurants.
