Sipario selected for the ADI Design Index 2021

Sipario selected for the ADI Design Index 2021

Sipario, the outdoor modular partition wall system with a planter in regenerated plastic, designed by Raffaello Galiotto, is included in the 2021 publication of the ADI Design Index. This second edition of the biennial cycle names products shortlisted for the coveted Compasso d'Oro (Golden Compass) Award.

The design focus of Sipario is the elegant pattern of the modules consisting of an asymmetrical wide mesh grid that allows the creation of various configurations - linear, split, curved and closed - without requiring any screws or tools. The modules are fitted with a special self-watering planter with a dual function: to make the partition walls heavier and to contain plants and flowers so that the separated spaces can be natural, private and elegant.

Made of post-consumer plastic that is also recyclable, Sipario is 100% Made in Italy from its design to its manufacture.

Established in 1954 and created by Giò Ponti, the ADI Compasso d'Oro Award is the oldest and most prestigious design award in the world, acknowledging the quality of Italian design and production.
